I've posted below a selection of some of the book covers included in this list as a basis of research for my faber and faber book cover designs as well as for poster design research.

I love the bold simplistic graphics used to illustrate Alex on this front cover. The colours also compliment each other well. This can be the start of an exploration into mass produced book covers and will go in my design context publication part.

Another simple geometric cover.

Designer not credited but the simple geometric shapes are clean and simply communicate the subject of the book using a minimal colour palette.

Bold simplistic illustrations make the cover stand out, without giving too much away about the subject. Each cover been very abstract and minimal.

The more i look at these book covers the more i see them within the blanka movie posters, especially the colour palette.
