This cover by Shepard Fairey is extremely similar to these Led Zeppelin posters i found produced by Orion Books. Again i think Fairey's style works perfectly on a poster and book cover.
The limited colour use and small details adds to the effect of the cover/poster.
I love how Fairey layers up each image, with the underlay of news articles.
The posters for Orion aren't as finished off as the Fairey cover but are bold, beautiful and the colour palette remains limited and each colour compliments the other.
